The Royal National Park was founded in 1879 by Sir John Robertson, Premier of New South Wales. It is the world's second oldest national park after Yellowstone in United States. Its original name was The National Park, but it was renamed in 1955 after a visit by Elizabeth II, Queen of Australia. The Royal was added to the list of the National Heritage in December, 2006
The Audley Room, originally the Audley Dance Hall, was built in the 1940s. It boasts an expansive balcony offering breathtaking views of the Hacking River, picturesque meadows and the famous timber boathouse built in the late 19th century.
The Audley Room is a truly unique location - a place to fall in love with and create memories that last a lifetime.
