Q. Is there a venue hire fee for The Audley Room
A. In all of our standard packages, room hire is included. As a heritage listed venue, there may be a venue fee to hire the room for your special event if you do not choose one of the existing packages.

Q. Is there a lawn hire fee for civil ceremonies in the Royal National Park?   
A. Yes, there is a lawn hire fee for ceremonies. POA and subject to approval from The National Parks and Wildlife. Please call to discuss options. If a section of the park can be hired for a ceremony The Audley Room can supply white chairs for guests and a signing table with a white cloth and 2 chairs. Note there are restrictions about where ceremonies can be held on the weekend. In the event of rain ceremonies can be held in the venue and lawn hire fees are non refundable. Please contact an event manager to talk through options.

Q. Can I reserve a function date while I make up my mind?
A. Yes, you can tentatively reserve a booking date. We can hold your booking for up to 2 weeks. If at any stage we get another inquiry for the date you are holding, we shall contact you first about your decision, giving you first option on the date.

Q. How do I confirm a function date?
A. Function dates are confirmed by payment of a deposit together with a signed copy of our terms and conditions.

Q. How late can our function go?
A. Functions can run up until differing times on different nights of the week depending on liquor license restrictions. Please contact an event manager to obtain additional charges.

Q. Can I extend beyond the package time, eg. 5 hour function to 6 hours?
A. Yes, by negotiation with and Event Manager. Charges to extend including beverages are all outlined in our Wedding Packages booklet. Please contact us to discuss the options.

Q. Is there a surcharge for events booked on a Sunday or public holiday?
A. There are peak season and off peak season rates along with diferent rates for Friday and Saturday nights. Charges to are all outlined in our Wedding Packages booklet. Please contact us to discuss the options.

Q. Is there a minimum spend when booking my event at The Audley Room?
A. Yes, there is a minimum spend. Please contact an Event Manager for more details   

Q. What is the minimum timeframe for an event at The Audley Room?
A. The minimum time frame for an event at The Audley Room is 2 hours.
Please contact an event manager to receive a formal quote.

Q. Can I bring my own beverages?
A. The premises are fully licensed therefore BYO beverages is not permitted.

Q. Is there car parking available?
A. Yes, there is a public parking areas adjacent to the venue. Parking is limited during the day on weekends.

We strongly recommend hiring a mini bus to transport guests from the start of the National Park down to The Audley Room. Please contact an Event Manager for more details and charges.

Q. Is there a fee for National Park entry?
A. Yes, there is an $11.00 entry fee per vehicle.

Q. Is it hard to get taxis at the end of the evening?
A. Taxis are sometimes hard to get at the end of the night. We are able to book taxis earlier in the evening if your guests require.

Q. What are the additional charges for crew meals?
A. The additional charges for crew meals for entertainers/photographers etc are charged at $50.00 per person.

Q. Is there a different menu for children?

A. Yes, there is a selection of menus available for children under the age of 12 charged at $40.00 per child. This charge includes a selection of soft drinks. Any child over the age of 12 will be classed as an adult.

Q. Can I bring my own Florist or decorator?
A. The Audley Room has preferred suppliers for florals and décor.   
You are welcome to bring your own professional supplier with prior approval from The Audley Room.

Q. Can The Audley Room supply wedding cakes?
A. Yes, however you many also bring in your own suppliers.

Q. Is there wheelchair access?
A. Yes, there is wheel chair access ramp and disabled toilets

Q. What time can contractors start bringing their equipment in and/or setting up?
A. Music, staging, florist and decorators are allowed access to the venue 1.5 hour prior to function to set up. Exceptions to this can be made upon request. For further information please contact an event manager.

Q. Can I bring my own ipod?
a. Yes, you may bring your own ipod to connect to our audio system.  

Q. How do I pay for my function?
A. Payment is by cash, bank cheque or credit card. Please note that there is a 2.5% surcharge for all payments made by the following credit cards:
